How do we keep the game safer?

  • Teaching the PROPER fundamentals
    • All of our coaches are highly experienced when it comes to coaching football.  They have playing experience and will attend clinics every year in order to ensure that your child is being taught the proper technique when it comes to tackling and all other fundamentals.
  • Keeping the head OUT of the game
    • Our focus when teaching kids to tackle is to get their heads out of the game.  In years past, it was believed that using your head was supposed to be a part of the tackling technique.  Numerous studies over the years have shown this method is not sustainable long term.  At the youth level, it is VERY important that we teach these children how to tackle properly so they can play as long as they want, and, for that reason, our coaches have taken courses to ensure we do just that.
  • Multiple certifications
    • ALL of our coaches and team moms are not only verified via background check but they are also required to take a concussion course and a sudden cardiac arrest course every 2 years prior to the beginning of the season in order to be allowed to coach.
  • Equipment
    • We only offer and recommend the safest equipment on the market. Starting in 2018, we partnered up with one of the most innovative and safest equipment providers in the industry - Xenith. Not only do their helmets look great, hey are among the safest in the game as shown by independent testing at the NFL level. This page is designed to give families peace of mind when making the decision to let their child play youth football.
